Job summary

JBS Lenoir is hiring for a 3rd shift sanitation position to clean and sanitize all production lines each night, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. You will set up, stock and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, monitor sanitation, operate heavy equipment when needed, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly while working at high speed.

Qualifications

• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to stoop and bend at the waist repeatedly.
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitor and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Operate heavy equipment
• Work hands on at high speed and lift over 50 pounds
• Stay aware of surroundings and notify a supervisor if a hazard is recognized
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned
