Job summary

Techmer PM in Rancho Dominguez, CA is seeking a Samples Technician for the 3rd shift on-site. You will operate extrusion and mixing equipment to produce plastic compounds for diverse customer applications, following SOPs and safety rules.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift premium on the designated shift; training on 1st and 2nd shifts initially, with a schedule move to 9:00 PM–5:30 AM in January. Benefits include medical, 401(k), and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Extrusion experience highly desired.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs frequently.
• Ability to learn plant equipment functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate all key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety for self and coworkers.
• Engage in process measurement, control, and improvement.
• Learn operating parameters to deliver in-spec, high-quality product for customers.
