Techmer PM in Rancho Dominguez, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift (9:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m.). Training will be on 1st or 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday. This role emphasizes safety, planning, and Lean/Six Sigma methods to optimize polymer production in a world-class materials design facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) in Manufacturing.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools for problem solving.
• Proficient with MS Office and D365 ERP.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred with strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety procedures and conduct training.
• Plan and schedule to achieve on-time deliveries.
• Improve area conditions with maintenance/engineering collaboration.
• Lead 6S across the manufacturing area.
• Audit production against engineering parameters and update SOPs as needed.
• Troubleshoot non-conformances using Lean/6 Sigma root-cause analysis.
• Participate in Kaizen events to reduce waste and costs.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and assist in audits.
• Conduct quarterly employee performance reviews and develop workforce.
• Administer absentee control and disciplinary actions as required.
