Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Operator Level III (Extruder) for the 3rd shift in Mountain Home, AR. You will operate rubber extruder machines to cover hose with rubber, perform setup and tool changes, monitor quality, and maintain a clean work area.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to cross-train across the department. On-site work with opportunities for mentoring and growth within Danfoss Power Solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber extrusion service functions, including pin, die, stock, and mandrel changes, and ensure mandrels and tooling are cleaned, maintained, and returned properly after use.
• Set up and operate extrusion equipment by correctly installing vacuum cones, following extruder specification sheets, and completing all required production documentation.
• Monitor product quality by checking concentricity and ensuring compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while supporting continuous production operations.
• Assist fellow operators, cross-train in multiple functions, and provide operational flexibility across the department.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and company guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
