Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. seeks a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (10pm–6am, Sunday–Thursday) to produce rotational molded parts and manage mold changes. You will keep scrap and productivity within target, follow safety standards, and maintain equipment and logs. A $1000 signing bonus is offered.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, strong communication, precision measurement skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in lean manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform dimensional measuring and use precision measurement tools.
• Ability to perform simple math and measurements.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operates rotational molding machine to meet metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale/Inventory.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and complies with safety regulations 6S.
• Transfers resin into ovens and into molds.
• Works as a team to assemble and dismantle molds.
• Removes molded parts and monitors temperature.
• Performs mold changes using overhead cranes and rigging.
