Job summary

Wieland Group in Wheeling, IL is seeking a 3rd Shift Machine Operator to safely operate the Rolling Mill and maintain production schedules. The ideal candidate will monitor material quality and efficiently handle production processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial skilled machine experience required.
• Ability to work with calipers, micrometers, and other types of testing equipment required.
• Willing to work on short notice, volunteer overtime, and/or required overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the equipment on and around RM including monitoring material quality.
• Load and unload coils on the machine.
• Follow and adjust the schedule developed by the Planning Department.
