Job summary

Weidmann Electrical Technology in Urbana, OH seeks a 3rd Shift Skilled Manufacturing Operator to provide on-site manufacturing support. Responsibilities include machine setup, troubleshooting, material coordination, and quality inspections. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

We welcome applicants with a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of manufacturing experience. Candidates should be able to lift 50–100 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools (ruler, tape measure, caliper, micrometer).
• Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment.
• Physical: lift 50–100 lbs; not climate-controlled environment.
• Willingness to cross-train.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines per customer/order specs (make-to-order).
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine controls.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain materials and avoid downtime.
• Document production data per procedures.
• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions and perform quality inspections.
• Other duties as required.
