Job summary

Weidmann Electrical Technology AG in Urbana, OH is seeking a Packer for the 3rd shift to prepare, pack, label, and stage finished products for shipping. You will closely support Production and Shipping, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely throughput in a high pace manufacturing setting.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 80 lbs, and working in a non-climate-controlled environment with a focus on safety and 5S practices.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
Experience with packing, quality control, or manufacturing is preferred.
Ability to operate material handling and packing equipment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, stage, pack, label, and secure finished products per shipping/quality requirements.
Perform visual quality inspections and report non-conforming products.
Enter production/product information in SAP and support material flow.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment following 5S and safety procedures.
