Job summary

Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead and support resident care staff, ensuring high-quality care on each shift while following resident service plans with dignity and respect.

The position requires caregiving experience, English proficiency, and leadership abilities. A CNA/CENA/MA/LPN certification is preferred, with CPR certification and a mandatory Heritage Property Management Med Tech Certification training. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English and follow directions.
• Caregiving certification preferred: CNA, CENA, MA, or LPN.
• Leadership, supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must complete Heritage Property Management Med Tech Certification training and pass the test.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise resident services staff and daily care delivery.
• Ensure residents receive care per service plans.
• Complete and update resident assessments and care plans as needed or directed by a supervisor.
• Communicate with Licensed Health Care Professionals, families, and care partners regarding resident conditions, medications and treatments to ensure continuum of care.
• Respond to and lead emergency situations to ensure resident safety.
• Complete required documentation for residents, staff and visitor incidents or injuries, and notify appropriate parties.
• Perform staff performance reviews as needed (90 days and annually).
• Deliver staff coaching and counseling as needed.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility, dining.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to supervisor.
• Document care and services as directed.
• Assist residents with meals and life enrichment activities as needed.
• Train staff as assigned to assure goals and objectives of the living center are fulfilled.
