Job summary

Pilgrim in Louisville, KY is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems for our food processing operation. You will perform day-to-day maintenance, ensure safety protocols, and support overall plant operations on a shift basis.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with ammonia systems, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in extreme heat or cold.

Qualifications

• Must pass a mechanical knowledge test.
• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry.
• Basic computer skills necessary.
• PLC knowledge preferred.

• Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Day to day maintenance repair to equipment.
• Perform labeling and tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications.
• Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state, and local requirements.

• Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties
