Overview

AMMONIA REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN - $26-29/hr

3rd Shift - 11:30p - 7:00a ( Monday - Thursday)

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all safety policies and cooperates with all regulatory, factory and divisional safety standards/requirements and department(s).
• Identifies and reports all hazards immediately.
• Performs all quality checks as required by position and/or product and as documented within factory quality system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration experience working on compressors, ammonia pumps, condensing towers, and full understanding of the refrigeration cycle.
• Electrical: Knowledge of components and equipment including the use of specialized equipment, power sources, AC/DC motors and transformers.
• Welding/Cutting: Knowledge and utilization of PPE and safety for tasks, techniques (tig / stick / mig), setup of equipment, basic gas cutting, proper grounding and equipment maintenance.
• Computer operation and understanding of PLC operation.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time.
