Job summary

Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in the Plant Management department in New Castle, IN. You will train lead associates, ensure HACCP compliance, manage records, and coordinate with other departments to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include supervising daily objectives, completing reports, conducting performance evaluations, and enforcing company policies while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; knowledge of food industry preferred.
• 3–5 years in food industry with at least 2 in supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• HACCP certification.
• Knowledge of USDA regulations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Ensures that employees adhere to company policies and work rules.
• Conducts employee evaluations as scheduled.
• Conducts disciplinary actions of department employees in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
• Represents Department at company meetings, functions and/or activities.

Overview

Duties include ensuring that all lead associates are properly trained and have a full understanding of the processes they are involved in, record and inventory maintenance, meeting HACCP requirements, and planning and communication with other departments.
