Job summary

Oberto Snacks, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Raw Processing Operator 1 on the 3rd shift to operate machines ensuring quality standards and line efficiency. You will work onsite in a dynamic production environment, handling responsibilities across labeling, batching, and packaging operations.

The role requires basic manufacturing experience and a willingness to work in a fast-paced setting with potential overtime during peak production, as well as a shift differential for the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School (minimum) required.
• 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Pallet Jack experience preferred.
• Lock-Out Tag-Out Certified (OJT).
• Familiarity with HACCP (OJT), SQF preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meat, dates, tape, labels, and other supplies are correct according to product specifications.
• Ensure efficient packaging by setting up workstations correctly and effectively.
• Demonstrate leadership by directing employees to assist others where needed on other lines or rework when machines are down.
• Encourage team to be ready to start on time in the morning, after breaks and lunch.
• Perform product quality and QA checks to eliminate or reduce product waste or rework.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and account for all inedible products.
• Follow all specification sheets and ensure safety and sanitation measures are followed.
