Job summary

Transco Rail Services is seeking a painter to provide finished products based on customer specifications. This role offers on-the-job training for newcomers and opportunities for experienced painters with blast, paint, and insulation work.

You will clean, prep, mix coatings, apply finishes, inspect quality, and comply with safety procedures while handling solvents and lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a hands-on shop position with a focus on safety and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Able to clean grease, dirt, rust, old paint from equipment.
• Knowledgeable in painting/blasting tools such as guns, sanding tools, blasters and grinders.
• Mix and apply uniform paint coatings according to specifications.
• Prepares equipment for painting and blasting restoration, tapes and masks.
• Inspects finished product for quality and follows safety procedures.
• Able to work around chemicals and fumes common to paint operations.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders/ platforms.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical.
