Job summary

Sussek Machine Company in New Berlin, WI, is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Technician to ensure conformance to quality standards across incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products. You will read blueprints, inspect dimensions, and document results, with a 10pm–7am shift and a 12% premium.

The role emphasizes meticulous inspection, adherence to procedures, and participation in ISIR/PPAP as needed, enabling continuous improvement in manufacturing quality.

Qualifications

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to conformance to specs.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerances.
• Read gauges, dials, and indicators to verify measurements.

Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerance limits.
• Troubleshoot print and bill of materials problems.
• Perform inspection on first piece, in process, purchased part and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine quality audits by following the work instructions.
• Complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders.
• Communicate with plant supervision noted deviations of tolerances and quality.
• Assist with ISIR, and PPAP activities as needed.
