Job summary

Reynolds Machine Company a Sussek Machine Company in New Berlin, WI is seeking a 3rd shift Quality Technician to ensure products meet quality standards. You will inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished goods, interpreting blueprints and routing sheets to ensure conformance.

You will perform first-piece and in-process checks, document results, and assist with ISIR/PPAP tasks as needed while adhering to ISO 9000 quality practices.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of metal manufacturing quality experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, work orders, and routing sheets.
• Proficient in quality inspections and precision measurement.
• ISO 9000 certification is a strong advantage.
• Able to lift up to 30 lb and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished goods for conformance to specifications.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and finished-product inspections.
• Conduct routine quality audits per work instructions and complete inspection records.
• Communicate deviations of tolerances to plant supervision; document findings.
• Assist with ISIR and PPAP activities as needed.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, passionate about quality assurance, and eager to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional products to our customers.OverviewAs a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for checks and inspects in-coming materials, in-process and finished products, ensuring conformance to company quality standards and customer specifications .ResponsibilitiesInterpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerance limits.Troubleshoot print and bill of materials problems.Perform inspection on first piece, in process, purchased part and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specifications.Perform routine quality audits by following the work instructions.Complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders.Communicate with plant supervision noted deviations of tolerances and quality.Assist with ISIR, and PPAP activities as neededQualificationsThis is a 3rd Shift 10pm to 7amEnjoy 12% shift premiumMinimum of 2 to 5 years of Metal Manufacturing experience in a fast pace machining environmentPrevious Experience as a Quality Technician in a manufacturing setting is RequiredCMM is experience is plusAttention to detail is requiredCertification of quality control is a strong advantage ( ISO 9000)Experience and ability to read multiple gauges, dials, and other indicatorsRegular lifting of parts up to 30# with frequent walking, bending and reachingYou should be proficient in:Quality Inspection ExperienceQuality Control ExperiencePrecision Measurement & Hand MetrologyPrecision Measurement & InspectionExperience in a Manufacturing Environmentin process inspectionMachines & technologies you'll use:CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)Calipers and Micrometers
