The position requires a High School Diploma, strong English communication, basic math, and the ability to follow written instructions. Pay is $19.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English at all levels.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (inches and pounds) using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Self-motivated, problem-solver who can work in a dynamic environment and follow written instructions.
• Ability to apply common sense to written, oral or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products on the production line to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Perform quality process inspections at the gauging station at required intervals following written instructions per customers' requirements.
• Identify and report any quality issues or defects to production supervisors and management; stopping the line for quality issues requiring immediate attention.
• Pull samples for FARO inspection; inspect parts at the gauging station for specified dimensions and check for bow, camber, twist, and flair.
• Watch parts at the line for physical defects such as scratches, burrs, cutoff length, etc.
• Communicate with the machine operator when adjustments are needed and with line personnel when parts need to be held for Quality Review.
