Job summary

Ice Industries in Bowling Green, Ohio, seeks a Quality Line Auditor to ensure products meet quality standards before release. The role reports to the Quality Manager within the 3400 – Hourly Quality Control department.

The position offers $19.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts and requires a High School Diploma, English communication, and basic math skills. Overtime may be required, and standing for extended periods is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting products on the production line to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Perform quality process inspections at the gauging station at required intervals following written instructions per customers' requirements.
• Identifies and reports any quality issues or defects to production supervisors and management; stopping the line for quality issues requiring immediate attention
• Pulls samples for FARO inspection
• Inspects parts at the gauging station for specified dimensions and check for bow, camber, twist, and flair.
• Watch parts at the line for physical defects such as scratches, burrs, cutoff length, etc.
• Communicate with the machine operator when adjustments are needed
• Communicate with appropriate line personnel when parts need to be held for Quality Review at various machine events:
• Line stops for adjustments
• Line feeder faults
• Adjustment to cutoff press
• Adjustment for camber or bow
• Coil changes
• Review parts held in Quality Review to determine if they are acceptable or require escalation to Quality Mgr
• Acts as backup for Packers during breaks or to cover absenteeism.
• Ensure packing supplies are at the packing station.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, including projects or assignments to support the plant.
