Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a professional inspection or quality control role.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Proven attendance and punctuality record.
• Maturity of judgment and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must pass near-vision Jaeger 1 and color perception tests.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming documentation against bearing component specifications.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections using scribes and magnification tools pre- and post-repair.
• Measure components using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
• Decide acceptance or rejection based on established criteria.
• Communicate material removal requirements to machine operators clearly.
• Perform identification etchings on bearings using air pencil tools.
• Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and in good condition.
• Apply current specifications and tolerances defined by the manufacturer.
• Support and maintain 5S workplace organization standards.
• Adhere to all plant safety regulations.
• Take initiative to perform additional duties as needed.
