Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Quality Inspector (3rd Shift) at its Greenwood, SC facility. You will perform detailed inspections of materials and products, apply inspection tools, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

The role requires blueprint interpretation, accurate data recording, and collaboration with production to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. Shift hours are 11:30 pm–7:30 am, with a $1.00 per hour differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a quality technician or inspector in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and measure dimensions within tolerances.
• Relocation not provided; candidates must live within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC; no immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products using measurement equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to validate dimensions within tolerances.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances accurately.
• Identify quality issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Provide quality feedback to production and verify corrective actions.
• Conduct routine audits of processes and quality systems.
