Job summary

HuFriedyGroup in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Quality Inspector (3rd Shift) to support incoming, in-process, and final product inspections. You will use blueprints and precise measuring tools to ensure conformance and document rejected materials.

This role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing or quality, the ability to read blueprints, and strong documentation skills. CNC experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or quality.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to generate detailed, high-quality documentation.
• Ability to work with others in analyzing and solving technical problems.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret written instructions.
• Good communication skills (Written and verbal) when working with others.
• CNC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct component and assembly incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to appropriate standards utilizing blueprints and inspection measurement equipment.
• Identifies, segregates and documents rejected components and materials.
• Participates on a Material Review Board to review and process non conformance reports.
• Enters and retrieves inspection and NC data from local and global systems.
• Reviews related Quality documentation such as DHR’s or calibration records.
• Supports local problem solving activities and may identify opportunities for improvement.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
