Job summary

Plastic Ingenuity is hiring a 3rd Shift Quality Inspector to ensure products meet quality and safety standards. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to read specifications and follow inspection requirements
• Ability to recognize and communicate product defects or quality concerns
• Comfortable using computers to enter and review information
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with calipers, gauges, CMMs, vision systems, or other inspection equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts for defects and quality concerns
• Perform quality tests and take product measurements
• Read and follow quality specifications and customer requirements
• Use tools such as calipers, gauges, CMMs, vision systems, and other measuring equipment
• Identify and document products that do not meet specifications
• Investigate defects and help determine cause
• Review inspection results and communicate quality concerns to Production
• Help employees understand quality requirements, sampling procedures, and testing expectations
• Maintain and distribute gauges, fixtures, inspection tools, and quality check sheets
• Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated
• Enter inspection and quality information into computer systems
• Support ISO requirements and GMP
• Work with Production and other departments to continuously improve product quality
