Job Description

Qualifications

The Quality Auditor is responsible for assisting the Quality team with inspecting product and processes throughout the plant.

Accountabilities:

  • Assists in inspecting product and processes throughout the plant.
  • Documents and coordinates inspection reports and procedures.
  • Investigate quality issues and their causes.
  • Help perform audits.
  • Implement process improvements to help reduce quality issues.
  • Assist team leaders and other staff in process improvements, quality training, and identification and resolution of problems.
  • Assist production associates in following documented instructions.
  • Assists in making decisions on highly diversified work (under direction of Quality Supervisor).
  • Able to bend, twist, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull and stack materials.
  • Understands, carries out, responds and contributes to all written and verbal departmental instructions.
  • Contributes as a team member and assists other teams in continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintains clean, safe, and orderly work area, keeping the safety of self and others in mind at all times.
  • Maintains company and department quality standards.
  • Assists in maintaining production goals, including flexible hours as required.
  • Follows all established safety practices and procedures, including reading and understanding materials and safety data sheet.
