Job summary

Glovis EV Logistics America is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for the 3rd shift in Ellabell, GA. This role oversees QC inspectors, coordinates corrective actions, and tracks RTP movement to meet KPIs. You will generate reports for transparency and support continuous improvement.

The position reports to the Quality Control Manager and requires flexibility for weekends/overtime based on production needs and a commute within nearby facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Must have visual acuity to identify defects, paint colors, and matching panels.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control; 1 year in distribution/warehouse preferred.
• Able to perform basic to moderately difficult math and use scanners and WMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of the QC inspectors to ensure safe, correct work.
• Monitor performances, attendance, communications, and related information.
• Perform audits to ensure inspectors and VPC departments meet standards.
• Communicate quality concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Support training and cross-functional initiatives; may drive as needed.
• Contribute to improvements by developing countermeasures and metrics.
