Job summary

GLOVIS EV Logistics America is seeking an organized Operations Assistant Manager for the 2nd shift in Ellabell, GA. The role oversees all activities at the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC), enforces compliance, and drives customer satisfaction while leading staff to meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, at least 5 years of operations experience, and 3 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years Operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Operations management system experience preferred.
• Database management system experience.
• Able to direct work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapt to change and demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily on-site operations for staff, including performance management and development.
• Determine headcount needs to meet production goals.
• Review production plans with Operations team for vehicle output and guidance.
• Implement vehicle processing improvements.
• Conduct personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluation.
• Monitor performance of staff and partners.
• Manage profits and loss to meet quarterly and annual plans.
• Lead efforts to maximize efficiencies and meet business objectives at Glovis EA ports.
• Gain hands-on knowledge to validate or improve processes and procedures.
• Ensure costs are recoverable and invoiced appropriately.
• Develop monthly and annual business plans for financial and production goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
