Job summary

Glovis EV Logistics America is seeking a Senior Operator for the Ellabell, GA facility on the 3rd shift to lead the Quality Control Team. The role focuses on supervising daily operations, staff, and equipment availability while ensuring safety and evaluating worker performance.

It supports training and adherence to SOPs and SWIS. The incumbent will work onsite with forklift operations, utilize scanning systems, and collaborate with management to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum of one year of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably automotive.
• Minimum of one year of sit-down forklift experience.
• Able to perform basic to moderately difficult math functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the OS in the management of equipment operators and team members.
• Monitor and evaluate worker performance, ensuring safety standards.
• Assist with training team members and safety initiatives.
• Learn IVELES systems and scanning processes for each department.
• Facilitate communication between team members and management.
• Resolve conflicts between team members and adapt to business needs.
• Ensure team members are trained and performing assigned positions.

3rd Shift Quality Control Team Lead/Sr. Operator

About the Role:

Be part of our rapidly expanding startup team by taking on the role of Team Lead at GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC. We are in search of skilled individuals with excellent interpersonal abilities to play a key role in supervising daily operations and staff, ensuring both equipment availability and a safe working environment, while also evaluating worker performance.

Department: Vehicle Processing Center

Reports to: Quality Control Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3rd Shift 10:30pm - 7:00am (Weekends and overtime may be required) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements)

Location: Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308 (Must have the ability to commute within the neighboring facilities for meetings, events, etc.)

Compensation: $26.80 per hour plus a position premium of $1.00 per hour. Additionally, a shift premium of $1.30 per hour will be applied for any time worked between 2:30pm and 6am. Premiums are subject to change.

Qualifications for Team Lead :

• High School diploma or equivalentrequired.
• Valid Driver's Licenserequired
• Minimumof one yearofexperienceofdistribution or warehouse experience, preferably inautomotiveenvironment.
• Minimum of one year of sit-down forklift experience
• Must be able to perform basic to moderately difficult mathematical functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averaging, and percentages.
• Must be able to successfully complete in-house forklift certification class and test.
• Previousexperience using scanners and WMS would be preferred.
• Mustmaintaincertification and take part in recertification based on company Standard Operating Procedures
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and recognize when and how to effectively collaborate with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly focused with excellentanalyticaland critical thinking skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the OS in the management of equipment operators and team members.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of workers, ensuring targets and safety standards
• Participate and support safety initiatives, assist with training team members.
• Learn IVELES systems and scanning processes for each department you work in.
• Facilitate communication between TM's and management.
• Resolve conflicts that may arise between team members.
• May be assigned various tasks based on work area for business needs.
• Ensure team members are adequately trained and performing their assigned positions.
• May work with forklifts, tuggers, driving, part install, vehicle loading, processing and QC
• Understand and carry out all SOP's, SWIS, and safety requirements per instructions.
• Must understand process flow and next customer requirements

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Assist with safety audits as needed.
• Report issues as needed to management to remain vigilant in containment.
• This position is required to fill in where needed, including but not limited to all Assist with training of new staff on quality standards.
• Communicate issues and concerns with management in a timely or urgent manner. supporting positions.
• May be required to assist in vehicle driving in urgent circumstances to meet objectives.

The hourly payrate for the QC Team Lead is $26.80 an hour. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
