Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health Unit in Davenport, IA. This role is 36 hours per week, on the 3rd shift (3pm–3:30am), full-time status, at MercyOne Genesis site within a larger health system.

You will provide and direct safe, effective mental health care for diverse patient populations, participate in quality improvement, and work under ANA standards. Requires Iowa RN licensure; Illinois licensure within 1 year; BLS certification; and an Associate's

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; Illinois license within 1 year is required or pursued
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Mental Health Nursing certification/training is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, effective, and culturally competent mental health care for patients across age groups
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using evidence-based practice
• Participate in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities
