Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift (Fri–Sun, 5:00am–5:30pm). You will lead a team of hourly associates in a climate-controlled environment, directing shift operations to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Materials and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training a plus.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and operational decision-making.
• Clear communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Root Cause Analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using digital production systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People objectives.
• Champion Siemens Energy's Zero Harm culture through safety observations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and first-time quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules, allocate labor, and adjust resources to meet demand and KPI targets.
• Coach, develop, and support hourly employees through performance discussions, training, and engagement activities.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and workflow optimization.
