Job summary

The Production Supervisor at Jackson’s Food Company provides frontline leadership for all production activities from the potato room through packaging, ensuring daily production goals, safety standards, and plant defined KPIs are consistently achieved.

This role directs workflow, manages staffing, and trains and develops production leads, operators, and technicians while enforcing GMPs, sanitation standards, and proper documentation to maintain an audit-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
• Ability to lead teams, set expectations, and hold individuals accountable.
• Strong understanding of GMPs, food safety systems, and audit readiness.
• Experience with ERP systems, production documentation, and inventory control.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop Leads and Operators.
• Strong communication skills with professional leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead production workflow and staffing on shift in alignment with daily scorecard.
• Adjust staffing and line assignments based on skill level and production needs.
• Identify and communicate downtime risks to leadership.
