Responsibilities

• Direct resources to meet production schedules while controlling costs.
• Ensure proper work methods are used and safety procedures followed.
• Supervise adherence to quality procedures and specifications.
• Analyze work orders to determine materials and sequence of operations.
• Coordinate flow of materials through manufacturing processes.
• Train workers in machine operation and adjustment.
• Inspect yarn and carpet during processing to verify conformance to specs.
• Adjust resource utilization to meet production schedule.
• Enforce company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Interpret job orders and assign duties to workers.
• Suggest improvements to production methods and equipment performance.
• Resolve work problems and assist staff as needed.
• Motivate workers to achieve goals and participate in hiring as needed.
• Oversee training of new workers and maintain production records.
