Job summary

CRH’s Oldcastle Infrastructure division in Acworth, GA, is seeking a production-focused supervisor to lead the production workforce, ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing that meets quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves coordinating shift staffing, communicating priorities, training new employees, monitoring performance and safety, and maintaining production data.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a plant environment with noise and exposure to dust.
• Proficiency with MS Office for reporting and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Back up to Shift Supervisor and relay critical production information.
• Lead shift huddles and communicate daily production priorities.
• Assist in conflict resolution between personnel.
• Schedule and communicate machine assignments based on production schedule.
• Monitor machine functionality and production volume, ensuring safety procedures.
• Identify and address safety concerns and enforce regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date production data, hours, downtime, and scrap records.
• Train new employees on safety and technical processes.
• Maintain attendance and performance records; report to supervisor.
• Provide updates on production and personnel; escalate as needed.
