Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in machining or CNC operations.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of machining processes, equipment setup, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workflow, and optimize production in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise machining and production activities during the 3rd shift, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Lead a team of machine operators, assemblers, and quality personnel; provide coaching and daily direction.
• Verify materials, tooling, and components meet specifications for production processing.
• Monitor schedules and coordinate workflow to meet deadlines with proper staffing and material flow.
• Identify and resolve operational issues related to machining processes and production flow; escalate as needed.
• Maintain shift documentation including production data, quality metrics, downtime, and team performance.
• Support performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and disciplinary actions as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies; promote a safe, clean work environment.
• Communicate equipment needs and coordinate with maintenance/engineering for repairs or preventive maintenance.
