Job summary

Cenveo in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead a busy envelope manufacturing line. You will oversee safety, quality, and efficiency, manage a team of about 45 direct reports, and drive continuous improvement across production and maintenance.

The role requires strong leadership, of high pace, with a focus on lean practices, KPI tracking, and hands-on coaching to develop tomorrow's leaders while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading/developing teams to improve workflow.
• Envelope-manufacturing experience is a plus.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production software.
• Strong problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety: enforce policies, conduct investigations, implement corrective actions.
• Production management: execute plans, monitor staffing/equipment, manage schedules and KPIs.
• Quality assurance: monitor defects, ensure standard work and inspections.
• Continuous improvement: lead lean initiatives, reduce scrap and drive improvements.
• Employee relations & development: coach, evaluate performance, develop future leaders.
• Administrative & reporting: track timekeeping, generate performance reports.
• Provide coverage as needed for production leadership.
• Adhere to policies and collaborate across teams.
