Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a 3rd shift Extrusion Production Supervisor to drive efficient operations in a manufacturing setting. You will lead leads and operators, oversee extrusion activities, train staff on GMPs and safety, and ensure paperwork and inventories are accurate.

We value safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a focus on developing the extrusion team, enforcing 5S and lean practices, and maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS degree with 2–3 years of related experience or training.
• Previous manufacturing supervisory experience required; food manufacturing a plus.
• Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leads and operators on the 3rd shift; motivate, monitor, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee extrusion activities (including maintenance) on the shift.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and laws; perform required safety trainings.
• Train operators on equipment/processes including GMPs, OSHA safety, lockout/tag out, sanitation, and housekeeping.
• Maintain neat, accurate paperwork, time cards, and inventory usage records.
