Description of the Position:
A Supervisor, or Department Supervisor, is responsible for managing the workflow of their team or department by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They contribute to the efficiency of their department by reviewing and improving processes and setting targets for their teams. A supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

Job Description:
The responsibilities include:

• Following established operational procedures for activities such as verification of shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and maintaining warehouse inventory.
• Ensuring training is completed (OSHA, compliance, etc.) and maintaining records for OSHA, customer, and audit needs.
• Managing operational requirements within the budget and customer specifications.
• Meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction by understanding and fulfilling customer expectations.
• Addressing and resolving customer complaints both verbally and in writing.
• Setting performance goals and deadlines, communicating them to subordinates, and developing schedules to complete operations.
• Monitoring employee productivity, providing feedback, and coaching.
• Handling complaints and resolving problems.
• Maintaining timekeeping and personnel records, including payroll data.
• Ensuring adherence to legal and company policies, undertaking disciplinary actions if necessary.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, establishing standards, and enforcing safety rules.
• Handling accident management, including injury reporting and investigation.
• Following GMPs and reporting non-compliance.

The pay range is from $68,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or relevant experience preferred.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a distribution, 3PL, or warehouse environment.
• Experience with 5S and continuous improvement programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and WMS software; experience with ADP E-time is a plus.
