Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Production Worker for the 3rd Shift in South Bend, IN. The role pays an hourly rate of 22.42 and offers a variable incentive program. Core hours are 10:00pm-6:20am, with overtime opportunities and strong growth potential within the mobility group.

You will join a self-directed forge team performing setup, inspections, maintenance, and operation of forge presses and related systems, with emphasis on safety and quality, while cross-training across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 to 3 years of Manufacturing Experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a self-directed forge team within an advanced forge press operation and participate to continuously improve operations.
• Perform equipment and tooling set-ups as specified by the Process Sheet Work Instructions.
• Perform quality inspections including gauge usage, SPC tracking and blueprint reading.
• Operate and adjust forge press, trim press, automatic loader, and related controls and systems.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.
• Cross train and participate in teams/taskforces related to operations and improvements.
• Provide training to new team members.
