Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a dedicated operator for the 3rd shift in our Grand Rapids production facility.

You will perform a variety of line duties, operate, set up and monitor equipment, and ensure proper materials and documentation are completed in accordance with SOPs to maintain smooth production. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of manufacturing/production experience, preferably in dairy or consumer goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years manufacturing/production experience, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods industry.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line equipment while performing line duties.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance repairs as needed.
• Complete quality checks and documentation according to SOPs.
• Maintain cleaning and sanitation tasks and prepare equipment for next run.
• Communicate with other departments and supervise to ensure throughput.
• Follow GMPs and safety requirements; work with teams to meet deadlines.
