Job summary

ABB’s Selmer, TN plant is seeking an on-site machine operator to run process equipment, perform setup and maintenance, and ensure quality at the right time. You will follow standard ABB workflows and maintain detailed records for equipment usage and repairs.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 2 years in manufacturing or machine operation. Health benefits, 401k, and vacation time are offered. This role reports to Production leadership at ABB.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Two years in manufacturing/industrial/machine operation is preferred.
• Ability to operate process equipment per manuals and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment to convert materials into components or finished parts.
• Perform routine machinery setup, adjustments, repairs and part replacements.
• Maintain equipment records, track units and final products, and report issues.
• Follow ABB safety guidelines and operating procedures onsite in Selmer, TN.
