Solventum is seeking Production Operator candidates to join our team in Meriden CT!

• Pay: $21.67/hour + 7.5% Shift Differential ($1.40/hour pay increase after 12 months)
• Shift: 3rd shift (Sunday Night - Friday Morning; 11pm - 7am)

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Production Operator, you will:

• Operate cartridge equipment for pleating, trimming, sealing, sub-assembling, capping, final assembly, testing, drying, and packaging of cartridges.
• Perform various production operations, including operating multiple machines safely, and assist in manufacturing processes as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist in changeovers and setup on production lines and equipment.
• Help other team members to ensure safety and maximize output, including training new employees.
• Conduct quality checks and collaborate to resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Your Skills and Expertise

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start).

Additional helpful qualifications include:

• At least 1 year of plant, manufacturing, or warehouse experience.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday Night - Friday Morning; 11pm - 7am).
• Availability for weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds unassisted and 70 pounds with assistance.
• Post-secondary education, basic computer skills, good communication skills.
