Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor in Fruitport, Michigan to lead and motivate the workforce toward high-quality, efficient, and safe production. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires strong leadership and problem-solving to meet aggressive schedules.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with solid knowledge of production scheduling, safety, and quality

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement to improve safety performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase OA, Rate and reduce Scrap Rate.
• Optimize material flow to eliminate waste and increase efficiency.
• Understand how job contributes to profitability.
• Lead by example and involve team over control.
• Schedule, approve and submit employee timecards using Plex.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure safe work practices.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities to meet on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with all departments to meet common goals.
• Pursue OEE improvements and reduce recurring downtime.
