Job summary

IMS Gear is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead 3rd shift manufacturing operations in our Gainesville, GA facility. This hands-on leader will drive safety, quality, and productivity while developing a high-performing team.

You will coordinate staffing and workflow, monitor KPIs, and partner with Quality and Maintenance to solve production challenges and deliver on-time customer commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of manufacturing leadership in a high-volume environment.
• Experience leading teams and coaching employees.
• Knowledge of lean tools (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen).
• Familiarity with OSHA, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment, materials, and workflow for maximum efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, downtime, scrap, labor utilization and quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance and other departments to support goals.
• Ensure production records, reports, and documentation are accurate.
