Job summary

Fisher Barton seeks a Shift Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead production teams on the Watertown floor, drive safety and quality, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes strong leadership, training, and coordination across departments to meet customer demand.

The ideal candidate has a background in maintenance or machining, is proficient with Excel, and can manage multiple groups while maintaining strict timelines and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate degree in maintenance-related or machining-related field highly desired.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience interacting with multiple groups of people and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review safety, continuous improvement, and productivity metrics and make recommendations.
• Interpret work orders and assign duties based on staffing and machine capabilities.
• Organize controls and audits to ensure quality production and efficiency.
• Assist in department operations including setup, training, troubleshooting, and equipment support.
• Collaborate with HR to drive performance, coaching, and training.
