Job summary

General Mills is hiring for a Production Line Lead on 3rd shift in Green Bay, WI. The role requires safely operating material handling equipment, managing inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining inventory records.

You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while training new staff. Starting pay is 24.87 per hour with 3rd shift differentials of 2.0 and 1.00 per hour on 3rd and 2nd shifts respectively; overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
2 years experience in manufacturing/production preferred or two years of consistent job history.
Proficiency in standard computer software including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Must be proficient in English and demonstrate safety, leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in hot or cold environments and to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to receive, store, and transport materials.
Receive, inspect, store and distribute raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
Prepare and load products for outbound shipment per customer specs.
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase platform performance.
Assist in training new employees.
