Job summary

AxoGen, Inc. is seeking a Processing Technician for the 3rd shift in Vandalia, Ohio. The role involves performing debridement and processing of human tissue for surgical transplantation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and AATB regulations.

Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma and should preferably be familiar with sterile techniques. The position offers various benefits effective from day one, including health, dental, vision, and a matching 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Universal precautions and sterile technique (i.e., surgical technician, medical assistant, lab technician) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing, debridement, packaging, labeling and shipment of finished product.
• Participate in the receiving and inspection of incoming unprocessed tissue.
• Utilize special techniques to clean and size tissue.
• Assist team lead with maintaining inventory levels.
• Perform lab cleaning activities as required.
• Work with Quality and Regulatory staff for compliance.
• Complete documentation in accordance with procedures.
• Assist with production records as needed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
