Job summary

Axogen is seeking a Material Control Technician in Vandalia, OH. The role supports process controls for human tissue and crucial supplies at the Axogen Processing Center, ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, and 3rd-party standards.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Prior cGMP exposure is preferred. The role includes lifting and moving materials and training others on processes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred, not required.
• Forklift Certification is preferred, not required.
• ERP system experience is preferred, not required.
• Ability to train others in current processes.
• Cross-functional support skills (e.g. environmental monitoring, inventory records).
• Ability to make decisions based on area operations.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, picks and ships materials per requirements.
• Handles and coordinates flow of materials to production areas.
• Maintains FIFO and quality system compliance.
• Reconciles inventory and keeps accurate records.
• Prepares materials for processing and shipping to customers.
• Supports safety policies and OSHA/Axogen guidelines.
• Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.
