Job summary

Sherwin-Williams seeks a Process Technician in Maryland to learn latex and alkyd resins, prepare pre-weighs for latex and alkyd resins, follow batch tickets, add raw materials, monitor temperatures, and document data.

Responsibilities include operating reactors with a computerized control system, staging materials, adjusting gauges and valves, ensuring safety, completing records, and coordinating with maintenance, quality control and warehousing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Operates a reactor utilizing a computerized control system to ensure proper chemical reactions and requirements occur; follows batch ticket and procedures.
• Stages, prepares, lifts, and loads raw materials and other components required for production; uses computerized/automatic processes.
• Monitors and adjusts gauges, valves, switches, pumps, and other components according to production requirements.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies and may require wearing safety equipment.
• Completes paperwork and enters data regarding materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and other operations.
