American Fabricators | AFI is hiring a Press Brake Operator for the 3rd shift. You will set up, operate and program a press brake to produce quality parts safely and efficiently, starting at $19 hourly with a $1.50 third-shift differential.

Typical hours are 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include equipment prep, QA inspections, training peers, and reporting production data to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• Able to read measurements and perform basic math.
• Must be reliable with a strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Familiar with reading work orders and reports.
• Must be physically able to pass a physical exam.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Ability to use measuring devices accurately.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Equipment preparation and setup adjustments for operation.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections for quality.
• Assist in training others on procedures and best practices.
• Operate press brake and communicate issues to supervision.
• Maintain production equipment and manage materials.
• Follow preventative maintenance policies and report needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with rules.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
