Job summary

Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a press brake operator responsible for setting up, operating and performing simple programming of a press brake to produce quality parts safely and efficiently. Starting pay is $19 hourly with a $1.50 third-shift differential.

Shifts run 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with overtime available as needed. Responsibilities include equipment prep, quality inspections, training assistance, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment to support production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Proficiency with measuring devices.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination (vision, hearing, mobility).
• Demonstrated reliable work history and detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Preparation: set up production equipment and adjust/changeovers as needed.
• Quality Assurance: perform first-piece and in-process inspections and document results.
• Training: assist in training others on procedures and best practices.
• Machine Operation: operate press brake, troubleshoot, adjust equipment, report data to supervisor.
