Clarios is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its Geneva, Illinois Dry Assembly Plant to drive mechanical engineering activities for automotive battery manufacturing and distribution. The role includes night shift hours (10 PM–6:30 AM) with potential overtime to support production needs.

You will work on oxide production, plate manufacturing, battery assembly equipment, formation systems, and robotics, while collaborating with plant teams and using ERP data to optimize BOMs and pallet patterns.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing electrical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of PLC experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Allen Bradley Software, Excel, Word, Power Point and other related programs.
• Proficiency in PFMEA and equipment SOW/ functional specs.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain equipment and processes for battery manufacturing and distribution.
• Analyze processes through PFMEA and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with facilities to implement new processes and equipment.
• Execute design validation builds, prototype builds, and production validation builds/testing.
• Expand on existing technologies to address production needs.
• Work within ERP to verify or modify data such as decoration BOM, pallet patterns and quantities.
