Job summary
Clarios, LLC in Geneva, Illinois (Dry Assembly Plant) seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support automotive battery manufacturing on first shift. You will work with OEM equipment, process validation, and continuous improvement to ensure efficient production and distribution.
Overtime may be required as production needs arise. Candidates should have at least 3 years in manufacturing engineering, PLC experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Allen-Bradley software.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing electrical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of PLC experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Allen Bradley Software, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- PFMEA experience and equipment SOW/functional specs.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical engineering activities for automotive battery manufacturing.
- Maintain equipment and processes for battery production and distribution flow.
- Validate designs through prototypes and production builds.
- Collaborate with Program Management and facilities to implement new processes.
- Utilize ERP systems to manage BOMs, pallet patterns and quantities.
